About Us
Hi, we’re Allen and Sophie Mowery—a creative team, curious explorers, and passionate storytellers who believe in the power of connection and the beauty of shared experiences. Our journey together began in 2022, and in 2024 we got married and put down roots in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. From here, we’re building a life shaped by creativity, curiosity, and a desire to leave the world a little better than we found it.
Our individual paths have been wildly different, yet they complement each other in the best ways. Allen’s professional path has been anything but conventional, spanning industries like marketing, visual arts, and media production, as well as stints in emergency medicine and commercial construction. As a nationally-published photographer, award-winning graphic designer, and storyteller, Allen’s creativity and resourcefulness form the backbone of his work. Whether it’s developing marketing campaigns, writing columns, or lending his voice to radio and video productions, his fascination with people, places, and cultures drives him to uncover stories that inspire, challenge, and connect.
Sophie’s career, on the other hand, has been rooted in education and empowerment. As an ESL educator, she’s taught students of all ages on three continents, from elementary schoolchildren in Colombia to university students in Thailand and adult learners in the United States. Alongside her teaching, Sophie has been actively involved in mission efforts, focusing on teaching, church planting, and supporting those in need through fundraising and raising financial support. She loves helping English language learners gain the skills and confidence they need to pursue their dreams, whether that means continuing their education, advancing in their careers, or adapting to life in a new country. Her warmth, wisdom, and commitment to building meaningful relationships are the foundation of her work, and she thrives on seeing her students grow and succeed.
Together, we’re driven by a shared vision: to inspire others, celebrate the stories that bring people together, and use our skills to make a positive impact. Whether we’re creating something new, mentoring others, or exploring the everyday beauty of life in our small Pennsylvania town, we believe in the power of curiosity and connection to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.
