It's counterintuitive, or so we've been taught. God is a god of structure, of principles, of the laws of nature, the very statutes of which He penned Himself in perpetuity from before the dawn of time. God is a god of order, and naught can or could or would exist without the rigidity of this framework.
Thus, for argument, evolution is instantly proven to be nary more than man's attempt to erase the Almighty from the very world He created, a laughably desperate gesture made by those engulfed in the throes of sin. Chaos does not beget order, and a cosmic explosion brings not forth the intricacies of the universe as we know them.
But therein lies the rub — "as we know them."
